On September 16, Deputy Minister Mariana Betsa held a meeting with Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Ukraine Seymur Mardaliyev.

The parties noted the positive dynamics in the development of political dialogue between the two countries and discussed cooperation within international organizations.

The Deputy Minister informed the Ambassador of Azerbaijan about the events that Ukraine is planning to hold on the sidelines of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly.

Mariana Betsa emphasized the need to increase international pressure on Russia to ensure the unconditional return of deported Ukrainian children and to hold those responsible for this crime to account.
