On December 2, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mariana Betsa held phone talks with Carlos Márcio Bicalho Cozendey, Secretary for Multilateral Political Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil.

The parties discussed issues of cooperation between the two countries within the framework of the UN and other international platforms.

Mariana Betsa emphasized that Ukraine counts on Brazil's support for initiatives aimed at protecting human rights, primarily children's rights, including the draft UN General Assembly resolution initiated by Ukraine on the return of Ukrainian children.

The parties confirmed the commitment of Ukraine and Brazil to the further development of active diplomatic dialogue and cooperation within the framework of international organizations.
