Mariana Betsa held a meeting with Katharina Ahrendts, Director-General at the Federal Foreign Office of Germany

On February 11, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mariana Betsa met with Katharina Ahrendts, Director-General for International Order, the United Nations, and Arms Control at the Federal Foreign Office of the Federal Republic of Germany, who is on a working visit to Ukraine.

Mariana Betsa expressed her gratitude to the German side for its consistent support for Ukraine both at the bilateral level and within international platforms, particularly the UN, amidst the ongoing full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation.

The Deputy Minister emphasized the necessity of maintaining the unity of the international community in support of Ukraine to restore a comprehensive, just, and lasting peace based on the UN Charter. The interlocutors paid particular attention to the preparation of events marking the fourth anniversary of the beginning of the Russian Federation's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Katharina Ahrendts assured of Germany's continued comprehensive support for Ukraine and reaffirmed readiness to deepen coordination within the UN and other international formats.
