On 29 January, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mariana Betsa met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Ukraine, Heiko Toms.

During the meeting, Mariana Betsa expressed gratitude to the German side for its consistent and principled support of Ukraine amid ongoing armed aggression by the Russian Federation.

The Deputy Minister emphasized the importance of maintaining a high level of political dialogue and further developing cooperation within the framework of international organizations, in particular the United Nations.

The parties paid special attention to activities marking the fourth anniversary of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. The Deputy Minister underlined the importance of active support from foreign partners.

Ambassador Heiko Toms once again reaffirmed the unwavering position of the Federal Republic of Germany in support of Ukraine and its readiness to continue providing comprehensive assistance to our country, as well as to engage in Ukrainian initiatives within international organizations.
