On November 18, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mariana Betsa held a meeting with Mexican Ambassador to Ukraine Audencio Contreras Gonzalez.

The Deputy Minister thanked the Mexican side for participating in the Peace Summit in Switzerland at the level of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mexico, which was held in Switzerland. She also noted Mexico's participation in thematic conferences on environmental and nuclear safety following the results of the Peace Summit, which were held recently under the chairmanship of the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak.

The parties discussed the current agenda of bilateral relations between Ukraine and Mexico, in particular, the intensification of contacts at the high and highest levels, interaction within international organizations and in the direction of interparliamentary cooperation.

"We highly appreciate the intensification of bilateral dialogue between our two countries, and the visit of the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk to the inauguration of the newly elected President of Mexico Claudia Sheinbaum is another confirmation of this," emphasized Mariana Betsa.
