Mariana Betsa expressed sincere gratitude to the American people, Congress, and President Donald Trump for the assistance provided to Ukraine in defending against Russian aggression.
“Ukraine is not only defending its land – it is defending freedom and true values, the rule of law, and paving the way to a just peace. Ukrainians remain committed to peace and highly value President Trump’s efforts to end the war unleashed by Russia,” said Mariana Betsa.
During her speech, the Deputy Minister outlined the key economic challenges Ukraine faces amid the war and emphasized the importance of trade as a component of economic resilience and post-war recovery.
Mariana Betsa highlighted the significance of signing the agreement to create the U.S.-Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund, a new important tool for mobilizing investments in our country's economic development and advancing the strategic partnership between Ukraine and the United States.
Participation in the roundtable made it possible to convey to highly professional experts and scientists from the United States the main priorities and problems facing Ukraine in the trade, economic, and security spheres in the context of cooperation in these areas with the United States.
