On May 29, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mariana Betsa held a meeting with a delegation of representatives of the offices of U.S. Congressmen representing the Republican and Democratic parties.
Mariana Betsa thanked the U.S. representatives for the efforts made by the Administration of U.S. President Donald Trump to achieve a just and sustainable peace in Ukraine and emphasized the importance of maintaining bipartisan and bicameral support for our country in the U.S. Congress.
During the meeting, the participants discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and the United States, including further support for Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression, strengthening defense, security and humanitarian assistance, as well as the importance of consolidating the international community around the protection of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders.
