Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Mariana Betsa held a meeting with the Ambassador of Iceland to Ukraine Fridrik Jónsson and representatives of the Icelandic media.
During the conversation, Mariana Betsa expressed her sincere gratitude to the government and people of Iceland for their comprehensive support of Ukraine, active participation in international initiatives, as well as the humanitarian and military assistance provided.
During the meeting, the Deputy Minister answered questions from Icelandic journalists, outlining Ukraine’s key steps toward achieving a just and lasting peace. She also emphasized the importance of security guarantees for Ukraine.
Mariana Betsa stressed that Ukraine continues to fight for its independence, democracy, and European future while also carrying out reforms in the country despite the ongoing Russian aggression.
