MFA of Ukraine and the NGO "Pylyp Orlyk Foundation" Concluded a Memorandum of Cooperation
18 March 2026 16:19

On March 18, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the non-governmental organization "Pylyp Orlyk Foundation" concluded a Memorandum of Cooperation. The document was signed by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Oleksandr Karasevych, and the Chairman of the Board of the NGO "Pylyp Orlyk Foundation," Artem Mykolaichuk.

The Memorandum lays the groundwork for the development of cooperation in several priority areas, including the implementation of joint projects and programs, the holding of conferences, roundtables, training sessions, advocacy visits, and information campaigns, as well as the exchange of information and coordination of efforts within the framework of agreed priorities.

Special attention will be paid to interaction at the level of international organizations. In this context, the parties aim to maintain consistent legal, political, and communication-based opposition to the Russian Federation's attempts, as an aggressor state, to abuse its position within the UN system and utilize its status as a permanent member of the UN Security Council to block the just and necessary decisions of the international community.

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Mariana Betsa, participated in the Memorandum signing ceremony.

"I am convinced that such interaction—professional, systematic, and based on a shared vision of national interests—is particularly valuable today. Ukraine is fighting not only on the battlefield but also in diplomatic, legal, and informational dimensions. That is why we must strengthen partnerships with institutions capable of working professionally at the international level, forming arguments, advocating for the Ukrainian position, and delivering the truth to foreign governments, international organizations, the expert community, and the public," emphasized the Deputy Minister.

In conclusion, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Oleksandr Karasevych, expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation across many fields of activity.

"The Memorandum opens new opportunities to unite the efforts of the state and civil society in areas of strategic importance for Ukraine: public diplomacy, international communication, expert-analytical support, and the promotion of Ukrainian initiatives on the international stage. I hope that the Foundation's activities will bring significant results, contribute to a broader understanding of the Ukrainian position in the world, and help strengthen international support for our state. I specifically look forward to the development of joint projects aimed at supporting the Ukrainian community abroad, particularly in preserving the national identity of Ukrainian children overseas," he noted.
