Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "I had a very meaningful conversation with H.E. Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Sabah, Foreign Minister of Kuwait. 

We discussed the security situation in the Gulf and recent developments affecting Kuwait, including the Iran’s reckless attacks. In this regard, I underscored Ukraine’s solidarity with Kuwait and other partners in the region, as well as our shared commitment to international law. 

Kuwait stands with Ukraine and supports our sovereignty and territorial integrity. Just as Kuwait faced aggression in 1990, Ukraine is going through a similar challenge today — and we deeply appreciate this understanding and support.  

We value the strong friendship between our countries. We discussed expanding cooperation in the defense sector, including air defense. 

I invited my Kuwaiti counterpart to visit Ukraine."
