On September 29, 2021, political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of Ukraine and Kuwait were held in Kuwait under co-chairmanship of Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine (CDTO) Dmytro Senik and Assistant Foreign Minister of Kuwait for European Affairs Nasser Al-Hain.

The Deputy Ministers discussed key issues of the bilateral agenda and paid special attention tointensification of the political dialogue and increasing the volume of trade between Ukraine and Kuwait.

Dmytro Senik and Nasser Al-Hain also discussed prospects for interaction between Ukraine and Kuwait within international organizations, in particular the UN.

Interlocutors exchanged views on vital international and regional issues, in particular the situation in Afghanistan and in the Middle East.

 For reference: The last session of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the State of Kuwait took place in February 2018 in Kuwait.
