On November 28, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Olexandr Mischenko held a meeting with State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany Thomas Bagger.

Olexandr Mischenko thanked the German side for its comprehensive assistance for Ukraine, including military and financial, and praised Germany's leadership in Europe in terms of support for our country. The Deputy Minister announced Ukraine’s critical needs in weapons and military equipment for the strengthening of its air defense.

The parties also exchanged views on the implementation of the Peace Formula and the Victory Plan. In this context, Olexandr Mischenko stressed the importance of inviting Ukraine to join NATO as soon as possible, which would be a fundamental component for achieving a just and sustainable peace in Ukraine.

In addition, the interlocutors also focused on Germany's participation in the restoration of the energy infrastructure in Ukraine damaged by Russian attacks and Germany's participation in the development of the Ukrainian defense industry.

For his part, Thomas Bagger assured of Germany's continued unwavering support for our country, emphasizing the priority of helping Ukraine in its fight against the aggressor for the entire political leadership of Germany.
