On November 26, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Olexandr Mischenko held a meeting with Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Ukraine Seymur Mardaliyev.

The interlocutors confirmed mutual support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and Azerbaijan and exchanged views on priority areas of bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.

Parties paid special attention to the intensification of contacts at the highest and senior levels between Ukraine and Azerbaijan, in particular between foreign policy departments.

An exchange of views took place on interaction within international organizations. During the meeting, the Ukrainian side highlighted the successful organization and gave high praise to the UN Climate Change Conference (COP29) held in Azerbaijan.

For his part, Seymur Mardaliyev emphasized Azerbaijan's readiness to continue providing practical assistance to Ukraine and strengthening cooperation between Kyiv and Baku.
