Ukrainian producers got the opportunity to export fodder flour and fodder fats to Israel. The relevant certificates have been agreed by the competent authorities of the two countries: Veterinary certificate for accompanying poultry/feather/fish meal and Veterinary certificate for accompanying oils and fats for animal feeding.

The opening of the markets became possible thanks to the joint work of diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and specialists of the State Production and Consumer Service.

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs together with the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection continue to open doors for Ukrainian products in the world. Last week and this week alone, we opened new markets in three countries: China, Qatar and Israel. This is part of the MFA's systemic strategy to help Ukrainian businesses in times of war. As part of our Nazovni platform, from January 2023 to February 2024, we processed 84 applications from exporters to enter the Israeli market, so it is interesting for business. We will continue to open new doors for Ukrainian goods in this and other countries," said Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba.

"State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection continues to promote the expansion of bilateral trade and the diversification of the export of products of various categories, including animal feed. Currently, 220 areas are being worked out regarding the opening of markets of foreign countries by commodity positions: meat, dairy products, fish products, beekeeping products and others," emphasized Serhiy Tkachuk, Head of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection.

The approved forms of veterinary certificates for the specified product categories are published on the official web portal of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection in the "International cooperation" section, under the "Certificates for export from Ukraine" heading.

We remind you that the first step for the export of Ukrainian products of animal origin is the request of the market operator to the territorial body of the State Production and Consumer Service by location.
