On 1 July, First Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Sergiy Kyslytsya held a meeting with Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to Ukraine, Ms. Inga Stanytė-Toločkienė.
Sergiy Kyslytsya expressed his gratitude to the Lithuanian side for its tangible support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, comprehensive assistance, unwavering position on increasing international pressure on Russia and its satellite states, consistent advocacy for Ukraine’s European integration, and significant contribution to the recovery and reconstruction process.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the outcomes of the Istanbul meetings and further prospects for restoring a comprehensive, just, and lasting peace in Ukraine. Particular attention was also paid to the security situation in the region in the context of Russia’s ongoing armed aggression against Ukraine, as well as efforts to counter hybrid threats.
Both parties reaffirmed their readiness to continue close coordination within international frameworks, including the United Nations and other multilateral platforms. Special focus was placed on preparations for the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC2025) and the upcoming summit of the International Crimea Platform.
The sides underscored the importance of maintaining the high dynamics of bilateral political dialogue and further strengthening the Ukrainian-Lithuanian partnership amid growing challenges to European and global security.
