On 12 September, Deputy Minister of Foreign Minister of Ukraine, Yevhen Perebyinis received copies of credentials from newly appointed Ambassador of Montenegro to Ukraine Borjanka Simicevic.

During the meeting, Yevhen Perebyinis congratulated his interlocutor on her appointment and reaffirmed his commitment to further develop friendly Ukrainian-Montenegrin relations and deepen cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.

The Deputy Minister expressed gratitude for Montenegro's support of Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty, as well as for providing assistance to our country in countering russian aggression.

The parties exchanged their views on the promotion of the Volodymyr Zelenskyy`s Peace Formula, positively assessed the progress in the European integration issue of both countries, discussed the possibilities of expanding political dialogue and the legal basis.

The Ambassador, in her turn, assured of Montenegro's unwavering position and support of Ukraine in the fight against full-scale russian aggression.
