On 12 September, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Perebyinis received copies of credentials from newly appointed Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic to Ukraine Pantelis Alexandros Dimitrakopoulos.

During the meeting the parties discussed the priorities of further development of Ukrainian-Greek cooperation, Greece’s support and implementation of President Zelenskyy's Peace Formula as well as assistance to Ukraine on the path to the EU and NATO memberships.

Yevhen Perebyinis expressed gratitude to Greece for unwavering support to Ukraine and stressed the importance of Greece's further assistance in the face of russia's full-scale aggression against our country. He also noted the importance of deepening cooperation to restore security in the Black Sea region.

The Ambassador of Greece assured of his country's readiness to continue providing comprehensive support to Ukraine in defending its sovereignty and territorial integrity against russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine.
