On 5 February 2024 Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Perebyinis met with the Chairman of the German-Ukrainian Interparliamentary Cooperation Group of the Bundestag of the Federal Republic of Germany Robin Wagener (Alliance 90/The Greens).

The main attention of the parties was paid to the issue of Germany's further support for Ukraine. Yevhen Perebyinis appreciated the German side for its comprehensive assistance in the fight against Russian aggression, particularly the Bundestag`s approval of 7.6 billion in military assistance to Ukraine in the 2024 budget.

The parties exchanged views on Ukraine's European and Euro-Atlantic integration. In this context, the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine informed the Chairman of the German-Ukrainian Interparliamentary Cooperation Group about the measures taken by the Government of Ukraine on the European integration track and the expectations of the Ukrainian side from the Washington NATO Summit.

For his part, Robin Wagener assured of Germany's unwavering support for Ukraine and its readiness to provide our country with the necessary assistance.
