On June 18, 2024 Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Perebyinis had a meeting with Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to Ukraine Marek Šafin, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Ukraine.
Yevhen Perebyinis expressed gratitude to Marek Šafin for his personal contribution to the development of good neighborly relations between the two countries and for comprehensive assistance provided by Slovakia to Ukraine to repel the Russia’s full-scale war of aggression.
The Sides noted dynamic cooperation in the implementation of the Peace Formula of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Slovakia's support for Ukraine's European integration course, and the importance of attracting Slovakia to Ukraine's recovery.
During the meeting, the Sides also exchanged views on the development of bilateral cooperation in economic and other areas of mutual interest following the joint consultations of the governments of Ukraine and Slovakia held on April 11. In particular, Yevhen Perebyinis emphasized the importance of implementing the Roadmap for Joint Action, which defines the implementation of a number of joint projects in the field of transport, energy and border infrastructure development.
