On 7 August, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Perebyinis met with representatives of the Norwegian NGO "Fritt Ukraina”.

At the meeting, the Ukrainian diplomat expressed gratitude to the Organisation for the significant and timely aid provided to Ukraine over the past two years, particularly for supplying essential equipment and resources for the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The meeting highlighted Norway's extensive support for Ukraine at both government and non-government levels. Yevhen Perebyinis expressed hope that the volume of Norwegian aid would continue to grow and meet Ukraine’s urgent needs.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to establish working contacts and maintain cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the representatives of "Fritt Ukraina", specifically regarding possible solutions of current logistical issues related to aid delivery and identifying Ukraine’s urgent needs.
