On 17 September, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Perebyinis took part in the 64th meeting of the Council of National Coordinators of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development – GUAM.

National Coordinators discussed topical issues of the Organisation’s activities, in particular, regarding the future events within the GUAM Chairmanship of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Deputy Minister in his speech paid special attention to the tragic consequences of the ongoing Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine and called on the GUAM Member States to continue supporting Ukraine to restore stability and security in the region. Yevhen Perebyinis emphasized the need to intensify cooperation aimed at developing the GUAM Transport Corridor, and to strengthen coordination of the Member States’ positions within the framework of international organisations.
