On February 6, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Perebyinis had a meeting with the members of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives of the Dutch Parliament, headed by the Chairman of the Committee Mr Rüdmer Heerema.

Yevhen Perebyinis thanked the delegation of Dutch parliamentarians for the comprehensive support of Ukraine in its resistance against Russian armed aggression.

The main attention of the interlocutors was devoted to the expansion of military aid to Ukraine, involvement of the Netherlands in the implementation of the Peace Formula, initiated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, as well as to the Netherlands’ support in the promotion of resolutions of the UN General Assembly regarding the restoration of peace and bringing the Russian Federation to justice.

The modalities of establishing a Special International Tribunal for the crime of aggression against Ukraine and the possible support to Ukraine on its way to the EU and NATO were also discussed.

During the meeting, Yevhen Perebyinis underlined that the Netherlands remain one of the leaders in supporting Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression and expressed gratitude to the Dutch side for the recent decision to provide our country with the “Patriot” anti-aircraft system and to join the "tank coalition".

The Deputy Minister also appealed to the Dutch parliamentarians to recognize the Holodomor of 1932-1933 as an act of genocide of the Ukrainian people.
