On 8 December 2020, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yevheniy Yenin met with Ambassador of Canada to Ukraine Larisa Galadza.
The parties discussed a wide range of issues on the Ukrainian-Canadian agenda, focusing on assistance in obtaining the COVID-19 vaccine, coordination of joint actions in investigation of the crash of the PS752 and ensuring adequate compensation to the relatives of the victims.
They also discussed the status of Canadian investment projects in our country and plans to modernize the Free Trade Agreement between Ukraine and Canada.
Yevheniy Yenin informed Larisa Galadza about the progress of Ukraine's internal reforms and expressed gratitude for the readiness of the Canadian side to continue its support of reforms in Ukraine, particularly of the judiciary branch.
"We highly appreciate Canada's solid and unwavering support both in the fight against Russian aggression and in Ukraine's implementation of the reform’s roadmap,"- said Yevheniy Yenin.
