On 29 November 2010 Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Yevhen Mykytenko received the copies of Credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of the Sudan cross-accredited to UkraineMr. Mohammed Husein Hassan Zaruga.

During the meeting the Sides discussed the current issues of the Ukrainian-Sudanese cooperation in political, trade and economic, military and technical, cultural-humanitarian, aircraft and shipbuilsingspheres. The Sides pointed out the prospects of the bilateral relations in the spheres of education, training, particularly in mechanics and engineering.
