On February 27, 2017 in the framework of a working visit to Geneva Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin met with Minister for Foreign Affairs of Guatemala Carlos Raul Morales Moscoso.

The sides agreed on the importance of the substantive activization of the Ukrainian-Guatemalan political dialogue, particularly by conducting the next meeting of the Mechanism of Political Consultations during 2017.

The issues of possible ways to increase economic cooperation, improve bilateral trade in goods and services, in particular in machinery, energy and other sectors were also discussed by the sides.
