During his visit to Guatemala, Andrii Melnyk was received by the President of the Republic of Guatemala Alejandro Giammattei, who once again confirmed Guatemala's unwavering support for Ukraine and condemned Russian aggression.

The Deputy Minister spoke during the plenary session of the Congress of Guatemala and expressed gratitude to the Guatemalan people for their support for Ukraine during the Russian Federation's unjustified war against our country.

During the meeting between Andrii Melnyk and K. Orellano, Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, the parties agreed on further actions to strengthen the inter-parliamentary dialogue, in particular, within the framework of the newly created Ukraine-Guatemala friendship group.
