As part of a working visit to China on June 6, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiha held a meeting with the Deputy Chairwoman of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal People’s Congress Zong Ming.

The parties discussed ways to intensify cooperation at the regional level, in particular, establishing a partnership between Shanghai and one of the cities of Ukraine. It was agreed to support the participation of Ukrainian business representatives in the China International Exhibition of Imported Goods, which is held annually in Shanghai.

Andrii Sybiha introduced to the collocutor the situation in Ukraine in the context of ongoing Russian aggression, and informed about the progress of preparations for the Peace Summit in Switzerland.
