On June 6, within the working visit to the PRC, a meeting of First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha with representatives of business circles of the PRC took place in the city of Shanghai.

Representatives of 13 Chinese state and private companies took part in the meeting.

Andrii Sybiha covered the measures taken by the government of Ukraine to ensure the efficient operation of the economy in the conditions of Russian armed aggression. The successful experience in unblocking logistics routes and ensuring freedom of navigation in the Black Sea, which will contribute to the development of international trade, was noted as well.

The first deputy minister informed the audience about the positive dynamics in bilateral trade and called on Chinese companies to take a more active role in helping Ukraine and, in particular, developing trade and investment ties. The question of the possible participation of international business in the reconstruction projects of Ukraine was discussed separately.

Representatives of Chinese companies spoke about their activities on the Ukrainian market, emphasizing the desire to intensify work with Ukrainian partners and invest in specific projects on the territory of Ukraine.

Mutual participation of representatives of business circles in exhibition events in Ukraine and China was agreed.
