Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "I met with my Norwegian friend Espen Barth Eide ahead of the informal meeting of EU foreign ministers in Ireland.

We discussed the outcomes of our leaders’ meetings and the implementation of their agreements.

I informed Espen about Russia’s escalation of terror, the situation in the Black Sea, and the latest developments in peace efforts.

Ahead of the meeting with our European colleagues, we also spoke about urgent steps that are required to strengthen Ukraine and increase pressure on Moscow, including the full use of immobilised Russian assets.

I expressed gratitude for the 85 billion Norwegian kroner in aid to Ukraine announced by Norway for next year, and we discussed further support, particularly in energy and defense".
