On January 30, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Iryna Borovets held a meeting with Ambassador of the Argentine Republic to Ukraine Elena Leticia Mikusinski.

Important issues of Ukrainian-Argentine relations were discussed, which after the meeting of the Presidents of Ukraine and Argentina in Buenos Aires on December 10, 2023, gained new relevance, in particular, the activation of Argentina's support for Ukrainian peace initiatives in the context of our country's countering of Russian armed aggression.

The Ukraine-Latin America summit, the implementation of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy`s Peace Formula, the International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children, illegally deported and forcibly relocated to the Russian Federation, were among the main topics of conversation.

The Deputy Minister expressed deep gratitude to the Argentine side, in particular the government, public organizations and individual volunteers for the humanitarian aid that Argentina has provided and continues to provide to Ukrainian refugees suffering from the consequences of Russian aggression.

The meeting took place in the context of the implementation of the Strategy for the Development of Relations between Ukraine and Latin America and the Caribbean.
