On January 31, 2025 Special Representative of Ukraine for the Middle East and Africa Maksym Subkh held a meeting with Ambassador of France to Ukraine Gaël Veyssière.

Maksym Subkh expressed sincere gratitude to France for its continued support for Ukraine in countering Russian armed aggression.

The parties exchanged views on the political, security and humanitarian situation in the Middle East and the African continent, as well as the prospects for supporting bilateral cooperation in these regions.

Special attention was paid to the events currently unfolding in the east of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, as well as implementing the “Food from Ukraine” initiative to help Syria and its people.
