On March 6, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mariana Betsa met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to Ukraine, Ms. Mateja Prevolšek.

Mariana Betsa expressed deep gratitude for Slovenia’s consistent support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine amidst Russia’s ongoing war of aggression against Ukraine.

The interlocutors discussed priority issues of cooperation and mutual support within international organizations. “Ukraine is sincerely grateful to Slovenia, as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council, for its unwavering support for our country at this leading international platform, as well as within other multilateral forums”, Mariana Betsa stressed.

Mariana Betsa and Mateja Prevolšek paid special attention to the coordination of cooperation between Ukraine and Slovenia within UNESCO.

Mateja Prevolšek confirmed Slovenia's readiness to further support our state on bilateral and multilateral tracks of cooperation with the aim of achieving a comprehensive, just and lasting peace.
