On September 27, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mykola Tochytskyi held talks with Stanislav Secrieru, Adviser to the President of the Republic of Moldova on Defense and National Security, Secretary of the Supreme Security Council of the Republic of Moldova.
The Deputy Minister informed the interlocutor about the ongoing military aggression of Russia against Ukraine, war crimes of the aggressor state and thanked for the assistance that the Republic of Moldova has been providing to Ukraine and its citizens since the beginning of the armed aggression.
During the meeting, considerable attention was paid to the implementation of the Peace Formula initiated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the interaction of both countries on the path to EU membership, regional security, in particular the Transnistrian settlement.
The need to strengthen cooperation in the field of security and defense between Ukraine and Moldova on the way to restoring the territorial integrity of both states within the internationally recognized borders was emphasized.
