On November 14,  Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Olexandr Mischenko held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Moldova to Ukraine Valeriu Chiveri.

Olexandr Mischenko expressed his gratitude for the firm support of the Republic of Moldova for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, as well as for the comprehensive assistance provided to Ukrainian citizens who were forced to leave for Moldova due to full-scale Russian aggression against our state

The Deputy Foreign Minister congratulated the Ambassador of Moldova on the successful presidential elections and the constitutional referendum regarding Moldova's European integration amid unprecedented Russian interference in the country's internal political situation. It was emphasized that the free and democratic choice of the citizens of Moldova confirmed the unwavering course of the country towards European integration.

During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues on the bilateral agenda, contacts at the leadership level of both countries in the near future and confirmed the necessity of enhancing cooperation to address common security challenges.

The interlocutors also paid special attention to the collaboration within the triangle of Ukraine - Moldova - Romania.
