Olexandr Mischenko expressed his gratitude to the Czech partners for their invariable support for Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty amidst Russian armed aggression. In this context the attention was drawn to Ukraine’s and its international partners’ efforts to ensure comprehensive, just and lasting peace for our country. The importance of strengthening the unity of Ukraine's partner countries to counter existing and future security threats in the region was highlighted.
Deputy Foreign Minister emphasized the Czech Republic’s contribution to the Coalition of States’ efforts to establish a Special Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine.
The Parties paid particular attention to cooperation in the military and technical domains and to strengthening our country’s defence capabilities. The Interlocutors also stressed the importance of combating Russian disinformation and propaganda, which remain instruments of Russia's hybrid war against Ukraine and European democracies.
The Parties exchanged views on ways to expand bilateral inter-parliamentary dialogue and cooperation, particularly through the exchange of visits of the interparliamentary friendship groups of Ukraine and the Czech Republic.
