On September 11, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Perebyinis met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia for Economic Affairs and Development Mariin Ratnik.

Yevhen Perebiynis expressed gratitude to Estonia for its consistent political, financial, humanitarian and defense support to Ukraine, and noted the high level of bilateral political dialogue and the intensity of contacts at the highest and high levels.

The focus of the meeting was on preparations for the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC 2027) in Estonia. The interlocutors discussed the concept of the event, its thematic content, as well as the coordination of further joint steps.

The particular importance of the practical orientation of URC 2027 and the achievement of concrete results by promoting agreements and projects aimed at supporting the recovery and long-term sustainability of Ukraine was emphasized. In this context, the need to strengthen the digital component of the Conference was noted, taking into account the importance of integrating digital solutions and the cutting-edge technologies into various areas of Ukraine's recovery.

The parties paid particular attention to the issues of Ukraine's energy sustainability in light of the ongoing Russian attacks on Ukraine's critical infrastructure on the eve of the winter period.

Yevhen Perebyinis and Mariin Ratnik also exchanged views on preventing the use of the port and transport infrastructure of the Baltic countries for the transit of Russian grain, in particular illegally exported from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
