On 14 February, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Perebyinis held a meeting with State Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany Thomas Bagger.
During the meeting, the parties discussed a number of current issues of Ukrainian-German cooperation. In this context, Yevhen Perebyinis noted the level of bilateral relations and Germany's leadership in comprehensive support for Ukraine in its fight against Russia's military aggression, including military and financial aid.
For his part, Thomas Bagger assured of Germany's unwavering support for our country until its victory over the Russian aggressor.
The parties exchanged views on Ukraine's European integration. The Deputy Minister informed the State Secretary on the measures taken by the Government of Ukraine on the European integration track, particularly in the context of negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the EU.
The interlocutors paid special attention to the preparations for the Ukraine Reconstruction Conference (URC2024) in Berlin in 2024. The parties noted the need to achieve practical results at this year's event both in the context of the reconstruction of Ukraine and the further development of bilateral relations.
