Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "During my call with Spanish friend and colleague José Manuel Albares, I informed him in details about the consequences of Russia’s massive attacks on Ukraine’s energy system.  

We focused on ways to provide Ukraine with additional energy equipment and to strengthen our air defense capabilities.  

I emphasized the need to step up sanctions pressure on Russia to curb its financial resources to continue its war of aggression.   

We paid special attention to the negotiation process for achieving a just and lasting peace.  

We also coordinated our positions ahead of upcoming international events and agreed on further bilateral contacts.
