On June 7, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha held a meeting with Secretary of the Department of Agriculture of the Republic of the Philippines Francisco Tiu Laurel, Jr.

During the conversation, special attention was paid to food security, cooperation in mutual access to the markets of food and agricultural products.

The parties noted mutual interest and significant prospects for expanding cooperation in agriculture and food-processing industry.

Andrii Sybiha emphasized that Ukraine, as an important contributor to global food security, is ready to increase supplies of agricultural products to the Philippines.
